So young humanoid saw this project and wanted to build a bipedal bird. Unfortunately, although it could walk, the resulting "MindBird" did not lift its foot completely off the ground when stepping forward. Also, one might notice that quite a bit of the design (notably the head and beak) is taken from the original project.
Thanks to NeXTSTORM, the original poster of the project.

Candy Machine 1
So young humanoid wanted to improve his old gum machine....and make a candy machine instead! So, of course, he again took inspiration from NXTLog (which is the online site I'm always referring to), notably from this project. Basically, a user would place a penny, dime or nickel in the slot. If it was the largest coin, the nickel, it would be stopped by an internal gate and detected by a light sensor. If it was one of the two smaller coins, it would slip under the first gate and be stopped by a second one. Then, the light sensor could supposedly differentiate between the two (of course, that rarely worked well...). The gates would open, the coin would fall into the self-opening vault, and the third motor would dispense a number of candies determined by the value of the coin.
Stand Up Bot II
So young humanoid saw this project, and thought that he could move the touch sensor inside the front plate. Then he thought he could place wheels on the back. Then he thought that he could modify the current NXT-G program, as well as the NXC one....
Thanks to NXTLog user "m1n1f1g" for the original project and letting young humanoid play around with it.
