Walkingthunder - The Dragon

Young humanoid saw a NXT building challenge on a website. The theme was "Build an Animal." Naturally he wanted to enter. But what should he build? Well, not a "real" animal, that's for sure..

First of all, what is it? Well, young humanoid hopes you can tell that is is supposed to be a dragon, a mythical creature. Secondly, where did young humanoid get the crazy idea? Of course, it was the website. Young humanoid saw a great bipedal dragon on the same website hosting the building challenge so he tried to build something like it. As you already know, young humanoid is horrible at bipeds. Naturally it was a failure. So the design was switched to a quadruped and WALKINGTHUNDER was born....

Young humanoid thinks that this is his best-designed robot ever. Of course, it isn't!! I AM!

Blog Summary

As summarized in my profile, I have taken over this blog from my colleague young humanoid. Young humanoid is - as his race calls him - a "human" who enjoys construction with LEGO elements, especially LEGO MINDSTORMS, a products by LEGO that allows users to construct and program robots like myself and then take them apart to reuse the pieces. Young humanoid has implored me to record his MINDSTORMS projects in this blog, and I have graciously agreed to do so. Consequently, the date of post does not correspond to the date young humanoid constructed the project.
