To eliminate transmission slippage, he placed one PF XL motor for each of the front and back sets of wheels. The third motor port on the NXT powered a NXT servo motor that steered all four wheels. Thankfully, it could move, but exhibited low torque. Also, it moved with a strange clicking sound.
